Psychotherapy
I primarily utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work. ACT can help increase psychological flexibility and promote values-based behavior. ACT is an evidence-based therapeutic modality. I work with people experiencing the negative effects of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, emotional dysregulation, unhelpful perfectionism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), trauma, life transitions, and issues surrounding identity. I have also received training in mindfulness meditation, exposure and response prevention (ERP), and the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM).
